Parties on high

With just 16 odd days left over, parties are on their full flow. I've been eating out for past 3 days and if this continues, I seriously am going to get the fat (that I did shed) back. As mentioned in the important list of things, I had to treat certain junior friends. Surprizingly, I ended up counting just the second year guys and treated them. Guess, alternate batches do have certain kind of similarty, atleast in IIIT Hyderabad.

Last night (25th March'06), we had an amazing piece of fun at Aditya Park Inn. This treat (different from the one above) was suppossed to be from a senior group of students to a junior set. 19 of us (mainly the D-grp) hosted a party for some 24 juniors. We got a banquet hall reserved for 43 of us and had food all arranged. It was fun chit-chatting to all those friends from junior batches. The best part happened towards the end. We clicked lots and lots of photographs and it was real fun. People got together for a photograph under all kinds of classifications - housewise, wingwise, groupwise, those who've taken projects under Dr. Venkaiaha, Dr. Kamal, Dr. RamaMurthy and some others, those who've ever developed messengers, parliament members, people who usually go over to play pool, those who play TT, those working in one department, those who've been more close etc etc.. One can get the feel of this amazing party that we had from those photographs. Thanks to Joy for his digital camera. One not-so-good part of the party was that it did cost really high. Nevertheless, it's only once throughout the BTech and that's when you're about to graduate and hence it isn't that bad.
