I understand..

.. I really do.. Its so disheartening to see oneself not performing upto the mark.. its sad to see ppl around doing better.. not because they've done well but because one hasn't done well in comparison..

i rmr the time when I cudnt clear IIT.. one of my best frnds did.. infact he got a great rank (something arnd 250)... both of us prepared together for 2 years.. both of us joined the same coaching.. both of us went together on one bike which most of the time was mine.. we shared books.. i don't rmr even a single book that i had bought alone.. we used to get almost the same marks in those coaching exams.. hmm, he used to get higher than me in arnd 60% tests .. but we were always close.. he got something arnd 1000 in screening and i got 1900.. isn't bad, right!! but then finally he made it and i cudnt.. its ultimately the result that matters.. it was so depressing.. i just cudnt stop myself from crying.. but then I got IIIT and today, I feel myself 'blessed' by coming over to this place.. i really do..

We aren't that intelligent to understand what HE's set aside for us.. and whatever HE has, it's definitely better (for us) than what we didn't get.. afterall, its not just the IITians who are the richest ppl in this world.. its not even the IIITians.. similarly, not all ppl who get into IIMs get on the topmost positions in this world.. m not sure of the stats but i don't think that even 20% reach those positions that they hope to get in before actually joining..

there's no use getting sad abt what's happened.. Jagannathan sir sed this after their batch's placements - "Understand that if a company doesn't recruit you, it means that you may not be suitable for the organisation. then be u enuff capable or not.. ".. Inspite of he being great, he didn't clear CA interview.. strange, isn't it.. and finally he got into Adobe.. Nitin sir didn't get thru ne company till almost near the end of placements.. i rmr times when seniors used to talk abt he getting depressed and all but finally, it took nothing of him to get into M$.. similary, Ankit Kumar cudn't make it for long.. finally he's into Sarnoff.. and to tell most of the readers here, he's already got a hike.. he's probably going to get another in few months.. rmr, its not been an year since he's joined that organization.. So, you never know, wat's kept aside for u..

my mom used to say that may be getting in IIT may not have had let u show ur capabilities.. may be u do something better in IIIT.. may be i did or may be i didn't .. but i don't regret now.. today, when i see the placements coming up, it is exactly the same feeling that comes up to my mind.. i may get the company which i wish and at the same time, i may not.. but i will get wat's great for me.. i'll get wat's best suited for me..

Its a human nature to feel sad after he/she loses.. but then that's not the solution.. may be working for the new upcoming events is.. Today, it was sad to see some of my batchmates feeling really bad abt how they performed in CAT.. That's not really the end of the world.. infact that's just a beginning.. think of it as a hard beginning and feel urself motivated to work harder.. harder than u did for the CAT.. harder than u've done for nething ever..

yeah, it's easier to say for others than to actually think for urself at such times.. but i guess, there's no other option other than feeling easy abt watever happened.. sooner u have a calm and composed mind, sooner will u be able to achieve success.. failures and successes are parts and parcels of life with former more than the latter..

may be this post helps me too to feel ease at times of failures.. but keep in mind, that's only a failure according to oneself..
