Where did this slang word Horny come from? All those who've read The Da Vinci Code should possibly know about it.. For the remaining, here is a short history :An Egyptian GOD named AMON is considered to be a God of masculine fertility. It is represented as a man with a ram's head, and his promiscuity and curved horns are related to our modern sexual slang - 'Horny'... And the Egyptian Goddess of fertility is named Isis.. She doesn't have anything to do with the foundation of this 'quite oftenly used word'. Is it that the females are less inclined towards being horny :D
