FYP viva cancelled
Was worried about what's going to happen in the viva tomorrow. Dr. Sangal's in the panel and he's some man.. He'll definitely get to know if there isn't much work done.. Not that me and my project partner didn't do much.. But, there wasn't much to show. We read, re-read and experimented a couple of things.. Still, nothing concrete to show as such.. There was a lot of learning - kernel programming, setting gateways, NATS, learning the connection tracking, NAT helper modules in linux.. We got to know how to build firewalls.. Made a simple firewall too.. But then that's not at all related to the project. We did that because we went on a wrong track.. It was already too late before we got the exact project definition.. But Mr. Hemant's an excellent instructor. He's exceptionally great at helping.. At times, he'd even go out of the way to help.. Used to sit with us till 3 to 4am in the morning during our internship work just because we had problems, that too sometime very trivial...But now, there's no viva tomorrow.. :D Mr.Hemant's at CMU, even Mr. Kishore's at CMU and Dr. Sangal isnt here this weekend.. We'll probably have it sometime next week.. But i pray that we dont have the viva at all .. It'll be great if they ask us to present our work only when Hemant's here.. It'll be cool no :D
